Pre-Packing Tasks

There are several tasks to be done prior to our shoebox packing day. See the signup sheet on the credenza in the foyer or here, on-line.

ShoeBox Packing Party!

Join us for a meaningful and joy‑filled Operation Christmas Child Packing Party as we come together to pack shoebox gifts for children around the world. Every box we fill becomes an opportunity to share the love of Jesus and bless a child with a “wow” item, school supplies, personal care items, and fun surprises.

All ages are welcome to participate — from sorting items to packing boxes to praying over each gift. We’ll enjoy lunch together as we serve side‑by‑side, creating a warm atmosphere of fellowship and purpose.

Whether you’re new to OCC or have packed shoeboxes for years, this event is a wonderful way to strengthen community, share the Gospel, and make a global impact.

Congrats to all who helped!

Cathleen Withington, Operation Christmas Child Lead for CCCLR would like to THANK everyone who helped with the packing party and/or did their own shoe boxes:

We did 68 shoe boxes in the church, and I was able to get my 24 shoe boxes done so we did a total of 92 this year!

I will be making a wish list for items we will need next year within a few days. Sometimes things come up for clearance or on sale and I like to try to let people know so they can spend less and get good quality items.
